I went to World Trade Center site on the night of 911. When I came out of the subway station, I was totally got into the mood that everyone had at that site, no matter American, European or whoever they are from... grieve, mourn, and sorrow.
Even though it was 11 in the evening, windy and down to 20 celsius degrees in September, still lots and lots of people lingering and gave their deep sorrow to the 3000 victims. I can hear people crying, sobbing and even blaming "God damned it, Muslim". That was a solemn and respectful moment when I was standing there, watching the timeline of 911, when was the north and south towers got hit by the aircrafts, and when did they collapse etc..., watching the photos that people shot at the day 5 years ago.
