A summer day like today would always recall some great memories that I had spent with someone. Wanted to write it down so I would never forget about it for the rest of my life because most of them are really deserved to be played in my mind over and over again.
I was riding a bike today to the near by neighborhoods, the only exercise I can have without going to a gym. Despite the terrible traffic, air-pollution on the streets, biking is an easy, effective and fun work out for me. Then I recalled....
Story 1
One summer day in NYC last year, me and S took a ferry to an island, Governor Island, which is only opened to the public few days a week and four months a year probably. It is so closed to Manhattan, only 10 mins ferry away, FREE, Staten Island took like 30 mins. You can actually walk through the whole island, but riding a bike there could make you enjoy the island more. So we spent an hour waiting in line to rent the bikes. While we waiting, a girl two groups in front of us was staring S so damned hard, maybe jealous or whatsoever, that I only took S's arm more tightly and showed he is occupied by ME.
Anyways, after we got the bikes, I was riding it like crazy, speedy, screaming and no arms on the handles at all time. S was worried about the safty of me and the passengers on the road, but I know what I was doing, and fully enjoyed the Summer-like wind blowing on my face and body. What a great moment.
When we got to the view point, where you can see the Statue of Liberty, we put on our sheet on the grass and started our picnic. There were my favorite white wine, brie, baguette and something more... I remembered I was a bit drunk, maybe because too much wine or the sun-bathing too much, I dancing and jumping with kids on the taxi beach after we finished picnicing.
